overall, this is what i gather from wes, bob, and jerm's critiques of my song, "Unknown to the World"

-i need to mix my vocals better; sometimes it's harsh, sometimes it's really soft; granted if i freestyle very fast(don't worry, it's not bust a rhymes fast), you won't be able to tell what i'm saying, but at the very least my volume level should remain the same... clipping's BAD.
-i should place my songs, lyrics and tabs somewhere on the internet(i'm so lazy... i had one started beforehand, why can't i motivate myself to keep it up?); would make it dling stuff a LOT easier for others
-wes can help w/bass(not really a critique, but cool nevertheless)
-wes also suggested asking river of life... they're planning on creating a cd of people's songs, and obviously they'd have better recording equipment than me
-i might really want to consider buying a stereo adapter, it would make the bass more clear... it would make everything a lot more clear. if you see any for reasonable prices, lemme know! i heard radio shack might have these, but i'm pretty sure guitar center might have something too(though it'd probably be a LOT more expensive)... also if i'm getting that, a cable that branches off to 2 parts would be nice too(that way i can hook to my amp AND my computer).
-maybe for future songs i harmonize with myself?
-2 words: live drums :)

it's too bad laura's com is effed over... she can't hear my .mp3 :( oh well, when in doubt, go live :)
