getting bogged down w/praise night preps... that seems to be the big thing going on for me this week... and it doesn't help that i'm the only one sending the emails and no one is replying back... maybe i should add "heart of worship" into the routine just to remind myself what it's all about...

stumbled upon the classic "christian rock good or bad?" debate(it never dies, doesn't it? and it probably won't for as long as some ppl can't accept rock) in one forum trying to search for chords and lyrics for some of the praise night songs... what amazes me is how some old ppl think christian rock and christian hip-hop are bad... they see the guy moshing around, guitar turned up to 10, heavy distortion on so hard the speaker's getting feedback, and they somehow think it's bad... (or in the case of a hip-hopper, he's yelling so many words into the mic you can't tell what he's saying)... but those ppl need to remember that almost that the hymns were first considered devilish in their own right when those started emerging... so we should ban those too? do we just listen to jewish music then? also, consider this: christianity is not a religion built upon customs... that debate was ended in acts a short while after God made Peter see the light and how christians don't need to do "kosher" things... and let's not even get into how i do solo worship...
