honestly, i'll watch the nba finals regardless of what the matchup is. i like the pistons more, but i want to see how far Lebron can go.

and oh yeah; makes me wonder if the kobe stuff is getting out there just to keep the nba interesting in some way for the remainder of this postseason until team usa hits the road; i mean, the only real way casual fans might get back into the postseason interest mode is if lebron not only leads the cavs past the pistons(fairly probable, given how much of a douche flip saunders is as a coach in making adjustments and how the pistons sometimes feel they can just turn it on), but beats the spurs(highly unprobable), averaging 30-6-6 or so.

but hey, talk about kobe this, kobe that, and everybody's ears perk up. ykno, the same people who used to list the top 5 people they knew on the lakers as: kobe, shaq, phil jackson, jack nicholson and (they get stuck here)

here's a random quick thought(most likely not going to happen though); what about kobe being paired with dwight howard in orlando? dwight seemed to defer to grant hill. maybe it'd work with kobe instead. magic has nothing really to offer the lakers though; dwight's not leaving, so you can't offer that.
