weird how long the rain is continuing to pour down...

but i love the rain...

it's hard to explain why... and i'm not saying i want this over sunshine... i don't know how to explain it...

part of the reason is because i know that God created it, so i try to take joy in it.

and i'd say another part is the feeling of perpetual light drops of water falling on your head as you're walking around outside IS NOT AS BAD AS PEOPLE ACT LIKE IT IS! if you did not get so afraid that your clothes are going to get ruined by water, you'd actually appreciate what a downpour is!
kim bap must be the korean equivalent of tza bun/chow fun(fried rice for all you non-taiwanese lurkers).

b/c everytime msm gives free dinners, they always seem to put this stuff up.

like i've said, it's pretty much the equivalent of fried rice gone korean. just that the eggs aren't scrambled, you use lettuce instead of peas, slice the vegetables lengthwise instead of dicing them, no green onion(i THINK that's always added to tza bun), and of course, it's a korean dish, so you have to add hot sauce.

---

but i'm confused; everytime i look for a "kimbap" or "kim bap" recipe on google, it always turns up that seaweed's in the recipe, and not hot sauce's added; is there something that msm's not including in this dish? am i calling this dish by some other name? confused... they also compare it more to sushi...

maybe it's bibimbap? the results i turned up for googling "kimbap" with "hot sauce" together have some pages listing bibimbap, with similar ingredients to that of the dish i've seen and eaten.

maybe my ears are just not tuned enough?

i'm just gonna assume it's bibimbap...

---

fyi, one of the things i'm gonna consider in the future is self-learning japanese and korean, maybe mandarin. but especially japanese; you can't play fighting games without the japanese influence seen, and so it would massively help me if i could actually browse japanese websites without getting lost; using altavista doesn't quite cut it, because it translates the pages into fobenese.

your two thousand and six n-c-double-a basketball champions are your florida gators...
ykno, when all is said and done, there was no reason to try to plan things out of obligation for sister's encouragement night. it would've screwed things up.

this mindset that a few of the senior guys shared, including me, was confirmed when we saw the grateful smiles beaming from all of the girls.

but if you wanna thank someone in particular, thank david g; i think the strawberry cheesecake that he made did it; ykno how girls are suckers for desserts. thank GOD whatever expensive dessert place in sac we called was totally booked.

the other two i would personally thank would be j-woo and david s. the 1st for opening up the house, and the 2nd for being the main driving force behind this whole night.

all in all, good job on a good night. to everybody who helped. or showed up to get appreciated.
