i wonder if they really count how many entries, or visits to a site there are for each blog... now i've got 2 ads stuck on my site, instead of just one... would they actually add a 3rd one?

(to be honest it's not a big deal, but imagine having enough banner ads that you have to scroll down one whole page to reach the stuff i wrote)
shapelle's show is just too funny:

wu tang financial(this was a commercial for a stock market-ish company like charles schwab run by method man and red man, the two guys from the wu tang clan group):
(so they are talking to a white couple, this is what one of the black guys says)
-you need to diversify your options, n*****...

hahahahah... me and jon were cracking up...
daaaaaaammmnnn... when i actually tried GOING to the follow-up fellowship after MSM on friday(they have a fellowship together, then split up by classes ie frosh, soph, etc, and go their own ways to bond, play games and eat food), i met so many people... i think i was introduced to practically every single person that is a freshman and then some @MSM... people there are EXTREMELY friendly... i think i'm here to stay... even got hooked up w/a bible study group right on the spot... even met a couple of korean girls who actually talked to me(prob gonna forget everyone's names, heh heh)... it was a blast

there's this one game that MSM tried that we CTCC youth group ppl HAVE to try... get everyone in a circle, and everyone get something that belongs to them... then everyone takes that object and passes it to the person on their left, and keep doing this, ie passing the objects around the circle AS FAST AS YOU CAN... if you drop the object, you're out and go to the center of the circle... it's kinda funny and fun, cause i remember one korean girl throwing the objects over everyone to get to the other side(and possibly damaging stuff), and when people scrutinized her she was like "i'm too short!" haha

the other game we played was "lightning"... get all the guys in one line, hands behind back, holding hands(hand to hand), forming 1 line(girls do the same forming 2 parallel lines)... now on one side have a person not on either team get a coin, on the other side have a cup filled w/water equidistant from both end ppl... now everyone other than the people on the end can look @the coin(everyone else must look away towards the people nearest the cup)... what the guy w/the coin does is toss the coin up... if it comes down heads, you start a chain reaction of hand-squeezing down the line(ie when you get squeezed on the right hand squeeze the next person's hand on the left), and when the last person gets it he/she needs to cover the cup's opening... then he/she gets to dump the cup of water on the other :) the winning team then rotates(the "cup" person now becomes the "coin-reader" person, and the whole line shifts towards the "cup" person again)... and repeat :)
(i didn't really care that although this was my 1st time here that i got soaked, i really didn't... haha even the guys were like encouraging me :) i also looked very spastic, when i was the "cup" person... just the look of me concentrating on the "cup" made everyone look @me... i think when i was supposed to soak the girl i just beat i came across as very nice... i didn't soak her in the face at all, and made sure she was ready before i did... she even thanked me later for doing that... haha... now every girl there prob thinks i am a nice guy... or just a pussy :D)

biblical lesson: share your talents, your gifts, your riches w/others... do what you can in the church/fellowship if you have talents, give a bit more... when i was listening(and desperately trying not to fall asleep due to my lack of sleep yesterday) i pictured when i was still in 9th grade in sunday school and charles gave a picture of a cup that has no holes and filled up to the top... yet, the cup with has a hole in it will always be filled, because it keeps giving and still has room for more

haha... there's this funny student's prayer laid out on today's bulletin; i'll explain later, cause it'd take too much space...

i guess you could say tonight i pulled a laura :)
me: hey
laura: yo
me: i pulled a "you" :-)
laura: eh?
laura: what di dyou do?
me: THAT'S how many ppl i met @ my christian fellowship today :-)
laura: heheh
laura: oooh
laura: yaY
laura: how many?
me: well, i think almost the entire freshman pop there :-)
me: and then some :-)
laura: oOh
laura: niiice
laura: that's awesome
laura: heheh
me: yeah
laura: hehe

alright, it's too dark... i should be asleep

ever heard of Pascal's Wager? it's an interesting argument as to whether you should believe in God or not... basically, it's this: if I believe in God, and you don't, we both die, and there is no God, we both don't win. but if there is a God, and we both die, you lose everything, and i gain everything. so when in doubt, just believe in God :)
(it's actually pretty reasonable the more i think about it... what's an atheist got an advantage over me on? this life? please, this life's too short, and i already try to live my life to the fullest. are you going to mock me in the afterlife and tell me "hahaha, there's no God"?)

then there the other thought... ever thought of how to drink milk and soda, like in which order? it's a lot like the opposite of the rule of combining acid w/water; you always add acid TO water, but you always drink soda first, then milk. reason's simple... soda messes up your teeth, so the milk'll restore it... you do it the other way, and you just effed up your teeth.

done for today... one of the newer things i've done is linked my away message on AIM of "playing CS" to a web site address pinpointing exactly which server i'm playing at; should make it easier to join and play against me...

SFA3: Intro music and the Ryu BG music's the shiznit...

haha... jon was considering whether to use Megaman BG music for a CS video :) i suggested Chun-Li BG music :)
well, after my 2nd pass time i guess my spring schedule @UCD isn't gonna be TOO bad... only 2 downsides is that supposedly my chem teacher that i chose is not very likable along the campus(i couldn't choose any other; all the other slots were taken, only upside being it's early, so i can get stuff done easier), and my math occurs @5:10-6:00P(the upside is that he's an excellant math teacher; i've had him before)...

it's interesting how the only 4 credit classes that fit into just 2 lecture days always come from the Philosophy department :) heck, if this keeps up, i might end up taking so many philosophy classes that i end up minoring(or possibly majoring?) in some philosophy branch :)

aw, what bull, bulls snap the 6 win streak of the warriors today... oh well, nt guys... but keep it up! i know you guys can make it to the playoffs!

long time since i've talked to Steve, the now-senior of MVHS... water walkers(my hs christian club) is into evangalism right now... i'd comment more, but i don't wanna expose too much... i just am kinda happy know he at least got into UCI and Cal Poly, as well as starting the guitar...
Bebo Norman & Jeremy Camp are playing somewhere near Davis i think; take a look at the church they're playing at Mar 13, too bad i can't get there, since it's not walking distance:

Sun River Church

Warriors and Bulls tonight... alright guys, don't let us norcal ppl down! you've come this far, now don't let up! (8:30 ET) you win this one, you'll come 1 step closer to playoffs!
k, just implemented a comments software or something like that @the bottom of each blog now... you can now comment on my stuff w/o having to wait for me to appear on AIM...
so winded right now, i just finished an 8-page rough essay... i bet the last 2 pages read like crap, cause that's when i started getting tired @2:00 in the morn, but i'll just revise when i get back from my 7:30 chem class... i bet you're wondering how i manage like that... i can't... God does... but i know i can do better... just that i don't have self-control between work and play as much as i would like...

i am the only one to blame for all my troubles and faults... the reason being i give in to temptation... God please help me to never make a mistake like this ever again... give me the heart and desire to learn... please...

...final thought of tonight... if awestruck was an official emotion, i'd rather be awestruck than happy... awestruck gives me joy... and joy lasts way longer than happiness...
go Magic, Wizards, and Warriors!

T-Mac scored 48 today...

enough said, i still have 3.5 pages left to type...

possible ideas for another CS spraypaint:

NAN DOK
Baited.com
RT killed you here
"Ten" (the kanji that appears in SF after you Shun Goku Satsu some opponent)

everyone else i know of has pretty much taken their links to their blogspot or xanga sites off of their AIM profile... except for me, oh well, there's always the links on the left...

i am not a very external person; i don't show my emotions that easily... and i hope i don't get as excited by stuff unlike my mom

warriors just won their 6th game in a row... YYYEEEAAAAHHH!!! they are 30-30 right now, and if they score another 2 wins, they'll be possibly tied w/the Suns for the playoffs... ooooooOOOOoOoOOOOO! go WARRIORS! don't let us norcal ppl down!

sonics are pretty hot too due to ray allen right now... i'm surprised how well they are doing, i seriously thought they'd do a lot worse... esp with the loss of mason...

in case you're wondering, Enimem didn't write Sleep for the Moment; i think the original song was by AC/DC, one of the better old school rock bands; however, the unoriginal bastard decides to just rip off the chorus from them for his own blingbling... way to be original... i could tell that song that he ripped off from them like daylight and night... unless if they let him, but it still makes him seem unoriginal... go create your own guitar riff samples and melodies, bastard...
whadda crummy day for me today(don't worry, i'll bounce back, just like i always do), but here's the skinny:

1)the average score for the chem test i took was a 71, st dev is 12.4, in other words, i would've needed more than 95.8 to get an A. 95.8!?!?! are you kidding? outta 100?!?! (granted, i didn't get in the 90-95.8 range, but i still got a B)... if i study hard and study everything, what am i still doing wrong? perhaps i need to start studying EVERY weekend? probably. but oh... so... hard... to... motivate... myself... where's the motivation when i need it God?
2)found out i had a final draft due today instead of thursday. luckily, i had already finished the final draft, but i didn't print it, and i found out halfway through the class. thus, i had to leave, sprint back, print it out, sprint back to class and hand it in... in 30 min... i am sensing a b for this grade, unless if i actually revised correctly enough beforehand... moral: from now on, i CAREFULLY note the due dates of every paper and test i've gotten... no way am i repeating this all over again...
3)i will have to get a jump on a rough 5-7 paper due this thurs
4)pass 2 registration for classes coming up this friday... have to think about my 4th class...

oh yeah, i'm gonna have to look up the significance of lent; i saw on laura's profile something about her abstaining from a buncha junk food...

can you help me break into song God? i feel in the dumps right now... i would like to show you in my own way how i worship you, but often it doesn't click for me...

it feels like i'm getting 2 midterms per week this quarter, or at the very least, 1 midterm + a couple papers to hand in... but that's 16 credits for you... better 2/week, than 4 for 1 week then nothing...

songwriting's hard... i need a lot of contemplation time to think... which i don't get... boourns...

ok, here was the message i got on sunday, it's a bit difficult, so pay attention, even now i'm still not too sure what it meant(perhaps emailing the pastor would be a good idea):

Daniel 9:24-27

"Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.
"Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens,' and sixty-two 'sevens.' It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.
After the sixty-two 'sevens,' the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.
He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

ok, so it's pretty confusing, and now i regret not bringing a pen so i could take notes, but here's what i could remember and decipher:

the 7 7s and 62 7s(or 434-49 years of duration, starting @49 years, ending @434 years afterward) refers to the time that passes before Israel rebuilds their walls... think of Nehemiah(the pastor started using puns, going "yeah, see we see that we're talking about the shortest person in the bible, knee-high-miah *ok, it wasn't that funny, but i chuckled a bit*) who was sent back to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls... this will happen on the 49th year, and continue until the 434th year, when Jesus comes... i am guessing the 62 7s hints more @Jesus' death than his arrival, since the bible says he will be cut off after the 62 7s
the 70 7s(or 490 years) refers to the time that people need to repent before justice comes(this prob doesn't hint @the end of the world, since it comes 490-434, or 56 yrs after Jesus' arrival), but it prob hints at when the Romans tear everything down

from there, we don't get more specificity about the end of the world, except that "the end will come like a flood: war will continue until the end(perhaps this hints back to conflict until the US pulls away from Israel, then the whole thing i wrote down before happens? not too sure)"

the last verse i don't get, here's where it gets shady; does this refer to Jesus? the middle of one seven could be 3(3.5 rounded down is 3), which would make sense since Jesus put an end to sacrifice and offering in 3 days... but the decree about him setting up abomination until the end decreed for him is poured out upon him...
it could refer to Nero, cause it could be a ruler who comes afterward in times of trouble; putting an end to sacrifice and offering in 3 or 4 days would make sense(ala persecution), and that he'd be put to death... but again, not too sure, and i am currently too lazy to look up historical evidence to make sense of it...
it could refer to the Greek ruler who tried to make Israel as Greek as possible(this was the worst antiSematic person to the Jews before Hitler), but that occured before the 70 7s i think...
finally, it could refer to the future antichrist...
some of the Reebok quotes of the week:

SHAQUILLE O'NEAL, C, L.A. LAKERS:
"I think he should just suck it up and show up. I think he should coach through the pain."
--O'Neal, joking about Phil Jackson missing a game to recover from having a kidney stone removed (Los Angeles Times, Feb. 25, 2003)

yeah... only you could do that... cause you're Shaq...

JAMAL MASHBURN, F, NEW ORLEANS HORNETS:
"You don't want to fight Tyson in the first round. You want -- what was the other guy's name?"
--Mashburn, on the importance of having homecourt advantage -- or the equivalent of Clifford Etienne -- in the first round of the playoffs (The Times-Picayune, Feb. 27)

haha... now that just cracks me up... trying to sound smart... when you can't back it up

MARK JACKSON, G, UTAH JAZZ:
"New Yorkers didn't fully appreciate him ... Had Patrick (Ewing) played in Salt Lake City, politicians would've thrown him a parade and named a street after him."
--Jackson, on Knicks great Patrick Ewing being underappreciated by his hometown fans (New York Post, Feb. 28)

tru dat... you stupid byron NY ppl...

thank God...

my mom almost got killed by lightning... during a lightning storm the phone she was holding turned red(y'kno the speaker and earpiece holes? both lighted up red)... immediately put the phone down... after picking it up later, it was dead... so was the 2 phones we had; one upstairs, the other downstairs...

and i've heard stories of people getting killed during lightning storms while talking on the phone or the like w/electrical equipment...

thank God... that he decided to prolong my mom's life a bit longer... i dunno what i would've done if i lost my mom at such an early age... i've already known what it's like to live w/1 parent... maybe God did intend to prolong my mom's life, but just did this to teach me a lesson about being grateful for what i've got...

that would explain why i couldn't call home @saturday...

whoever is reading this blurb of mine, please heed this advice: DO NOT USE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT DURING A THUNDER STORM!!! do it for your life, if for anything else! sometimes we take technology so much for granted that we think we're all powerful, and it takes this to remind us how we're not

i dunno, now i don't feel like doing work tonight... too much is racing through my head...
March 2nd, 1944...

happy birthday dad...

if you can see this from where you are, i'd just like to say, i'm so sorry for everything i did to hurt you... you didn't deserve it... you gave me everything you could possibly give out of love, and yet i still took you for granted... you were an excellant model for how a christian should live his life... i wish i could turn back time, because now there's nothing to remember you by, there's no tear that i shed for you because i was so self-centered that i never saw you for who you were until it was too late. forgive me dad.

----

i get rocked so easily by those pod-bots...

yeah, i guess i have to learn a bit about house-keeping before next school year... cleaning, washing dishes, cooking... say what?

DKC played "enough" by chris tomlin for one of their worship songs today... good...

Baskin Robbins is on E street... for my own info later...

i was surprised to get to DKC in time for their 2:00 service... i left campus @1:35 i think, and i had about 2.6 miles to cover before i hit it... my fastest mile time in the good ol times was 6:30(i think that's right, this was when i was still swimming, and had to run in class every other day)... surprised to get there @1:55 according to the clock inside... whoa... i mustve looked hecka red and sweaty walking inside... i think maybe next time i take off EARLIER? so i don't look like a nervous wreck? or smell like something outta manure pile?

oh tight, we're pretty much all having the same spring break... too bad mike isn't, i feel bad about that... nevertheless, it's still mostly good... laura, lydia, norm, tim, sam, wes, it's pretty good there... should be fun, maybe songwrite/cook together? haha...
