haha... norm's totally right... socal ppl ARE weaksauce. you don't know what's cold until you've done what i've done: jump into a swimming pool and swim for 2 hours... during the winter in the pouring rain for every weekday... or go to my house and live there during the winter. THAT'S cold. my mom absolutely refuses to use the heater AT ALL, not to mention my house naturally blocks out heat, so i go to sleep sometimes shivering curled up in a ball(and even then, i just wear a t-shirt and gym shorts then, with plenty of blankets). strange how i wake up fine, not sniffling or with a cold. maybe God's just blessed me in this area, i mean, i'm skinnier than a lot of other ppl, so i should be shivering more than others.... something about that, AND formally being on the swim team has perhaps made me more resistant to cold than most of my friends... sometimes i wonder if i'm iceman, cause bobby drake was resistant to cold :) thanks God. i know i wish i could have more at times, being human, but whenever i count my blessings, i rise up in praise. that's amazing.
