if there's one thing learning to play a drum set's useful for, it's those times waiting at the stoplight listening to the radio when you have nothing else to do.

here's a thought, instead of listening to music or just leaving the sound system off(hoping to hear the Lord), fill your mp3 player with mp3 files of a person reading the kjv bible word by word, and play that instead. or burn a cd of it. i'll explain in a future entry, but i basically got the idea by watching channel 28 on tv.

how long has it been since my family would take a yearly trip to brentwood this time of year to pick bing cherries? i don't even know anymore. used to be a tradition though.
