but that's probably the exception, and not the rule.

yes, things like this can happen; a superstar going off and the team winning.

but it's not going to happen often.

just a side note, if kobe actually HAD played 4th quarter, i believe he would've broken the record for most points ever scored in an nba game. sam's right; if kobe ever went off like tmac, he'd probably break the scoring record.

surprises me how many pts he scored, but then, avery johnson DID get ejected; maybe after that the mavs lost some defensive leadership?

i seriously wonder though, why kobe amongst all the talented guards that can score, has the hardest time getting others involved?

again, spurs are confusing me with the loss to the bucks. i KNOW, i KNOW, they're not shooting for 60+. but we'll find out whether the best in the west or the best in the east is the best team come xmas day.
