back to the childhood days

it's really amusing to me how the only guys who are going to canaan retreat this year are me, jon, jerm and norm.

because aside from me, all the other guys have connections within the church, like deep within it, like to the day it was born; norm's family's just sprinkled throughout the church, for instance.

WITH me, it's basically the group of guys that have refused to find a new church everytime we return from college.

not that i'm saying i could be stuck here forever... ditto w/the others...

but CTCC will always somehow find some place in my heart...

NOW, retreat will truly be a retreat... a place where you REALLY get away from everything to be w/god. funny how i will end up getting away from my evolution class to be w/god; imagine the humor in that.
