i was greatly disappointed by the way the magic played against the twolves last night; yes, i do like twolves as one of my fave western teams, but i also liked magic(though not as much as twolves), and i expected a much tougher showing... NOBODY on the magic was nailing anything, even though many of those looks were extremely insanely wide-open perimeter shots. at least lue did well, but i attributed that to the fact that he had played with mj on his team last year, thus gaining experience from the great one. however, that stuff aside, tmac did TERRIBLE; 2/20? wth?

on the other hand, i was DELIGHTED by the way the sonics played against the blazers and thoroughly whupped them... clearly i've underestimated one of the better teams in the west; at least, by their record(they have yet to lose a game), they are the best team right now... no dominance on the inside though so far, but they definitely play with heart.

highlights:
1)barry crossed up wells with a behind-the-back dribble, then passes to a sonic under the rim, who touch-passed it to a slashing reshard lewis(you da man!) for a 2-hand flush.
2)blazers' randolph actually pulled up, spun 360 like he was gonna pass, but then decided to just shoot, and made it! the announcers were going like "whoa... tony hawk eh?" I was going "dude! THAT WAS MY SHOT!"
3)sonics' buzzer went off for 14 min! haha... that was funny... delay of game for 14 min due to some technical screw up
4)perhaps the coolest play of the game? perhaps: barry drives in, then does a no-look pass... it BOUNCES off a blazer right back to him, then he spins outward back to the basket in midair and shoots just as he gets fouled... and scores! and it didn't even look silky smooth either, certainly not olang material, and you could tell he did not intend for that entire sequence to happen, but when you rewatched it again, it just looked so sweet...

bottom line... go sonics! heck, forget ray allen; murray just took your place! and how about reshard lewis!
