TFC looks like fun; playing CS leads to a lotta spectating at times... i forgot how fun Quake-style gameplay can be... running into battle with a missile launcher and getting kills by splash damage... looks like i'm gonna hafta actually play some of the other half-life games my bro got me in the bday pack... good thing he gave me that instead of just CS...
my saturn's in the shop... boourns... the plus side is that at least i got it in before i did some major damage to it... the coolant temp was pretty much 1 notch away from being overheated... THAT close... i had to pull into a shaded parking lot immediately and let it cool down before i drove to a shop... this happened on thurs...
i'm in isaiah right now... and it's dawned upon me how many predictions of the messiah are seen in this book... a LOT... also, though isaiah was often the messenger of bad news, he never relished giving it... i was thoroughly shocked to see how he mourned the predicted destruction of moab, an enemy to the israelites... what intrigues me most though, was the prediction he gave regarding egypt, in chapter 19, he gives an interesting prediction about how 5 cities in egypt will dedicate themselves to God, and how one of the cities will be named the City of Destruction; and more; i don't really remember the rest of the chapter, but it looked intriguing; there's also the prophesy how Assyria and Egypt will together worship God; is this a prophesy of something to occur at the end of the world? or has it already occured, because Assyria doesn't exist today...
ucla lost today to colorado... tough loss, because they lost 14 to 16, and chiller(that's his name?) managed to block a colorado field goal attempt to turn the ball over to ucla near the end of the game for an attempt to win...
cal i think lost to washington?(not too sure who they played)... it looked pretty bad when i last checked... 7 to 20 before i switched away...
sf won over d'backs today... they won in the 11th inning(!) when the pitcher lost it and ended up walking with bases loaded, 2 outs...
even though it was mainly a TV sports day(fox had mlb, kron had a cal game, abc had the ucla game and a usc game, and cbs had the us open), i settled upon tennis most of the time to watch andy roddick come back from a 2 game deficit to thoroughly whup his Albanian opponent... i just remember laughing at his funny last name a few days ago when i heard about him... today was the 1st time i saw him play... DAMN! he HAS to be one of the best new rising stars in us tennis! he reminds me so much of philippoussis, except he's a lot faster! he just ACED so much times during the match that i watched him! mustve been 35+ for a duration of 5 sets! the guy's got talent, and i wouldn't want to go head-to-head with one of his 135 mph wide-angle serves! go roddick!
