hooo man... "undercover brother" is sooo friggin funny! seriously one of the most funniest movies i've ever seen. white people are definitely not going to be happy that i said that :)

i think though the main comedy of the movie doesn't go to eddie griffin, but dave chapelle... that guy IS funny. don't wanna give too much away, but one of the funniest things he said during the movie was

"(he was talking about the white man) don't you know they invented the 3-pointer to give the white man a chance?"

let's see if the stuff i bought today will be worth it... i bought something that might help me connect the guitar to the laptop AND the amp. will try it out tonight

weird to say this, but now every time i think of blockbuster video, i will think of davis... i got my membership card here, and it says so on the card. like a remember of where i've been.

when i talked about "undercover brother" with laura she went "oh, martin lawrence, hehe" :) those UCLA white ppl :)

i thought about the fruit-veggie "bittermelon" today at the DC... i remember justin's dad once telling me how bittermelon has a weird sense of sweet flavor to it... and i thought about that... while it's got this nasty upfront bitter taste, if you can ignore that you can taste this hint of sweetness that you don't find anywhere else... he said that's what some people call the "5th dimension of flavor" ie we have 4 different tastes; sweet, sour, salty, bitter. and that got me thinking about how most people will dislike the bittermelon taste when they're young... that was the case with me... but when you grow older, you mature, and are more willing to take stuff... that's when you redive in, and discover what no one else discovers.

and that's the way it is with christianity sometimes... maybe at your young age you rejected it, found it too shallow, or too mechanical, or concentrated way too much on rules. but you grew older, dived back in, and after surviving hardships found the sweetness of it... it's interesting... it's like the biblical phrase "taste and see that the Lord is good."

talk to me... unless you want me to shut up, cause i need to write some.
