i find that when i'm not trying to look up bball stats or 3rd strike ryu tips and videos online these days, that i'm spending more and more time @daviswiki.org.

seriously, i think i learned more about davis and the way uc davis works by this site alone than anything else.

some interesting stuff i've picked up:

-parking's free on weekends anywhere(didn't know that)

-pools are free to swim in if you show your reg card(whoopie; i'm gonna be lap swimming on the weekends in spring when i buy some swim trunks)

-said this before, but yes, ucd does sell their own meat. cut and butcher.

-lists what you can do in sacramento(malls, chinese markets, etc)

-etc... too much to list, too easy to get lost and lose track of time.

-this really cracked me up yesterday; it's a joke fraternity that often advertises alongside the rows of frat signs near the huge grassy center area:
