i keep underestimating isaiah thomas as a point guard; yes, magic johnson, john stockton, oscar robertson are all up there. but after that, you need to put isaiah thomas there; i just keep forgetting how good he was as a player. when i was rewatching one of the ECF games during 1988-89 last night(game 4, when rodman had 18 boards), i needed to remind myself how good 1-on-1 he was, and how he delivered come playoff time; could drive into the teeth of the defense, pull up at midrange, or go for the 3. he nearly had a triple-double in this game(about 2-3 assists short), had 2-3 really good steals too from what i remembered, and scored the most points out of all the pistons(this, with jordan being the primary defender on him).
