you gotta love this question and answer when grassroots conducted an interview w/jeremy camp:
KB: I read that country music is the one type of music that you don't listen to. How come? What do you have against country?
JC: [Laughs.] Yeah. Um, I take that back... it was more of an emotional thing. I respect country music because it's music. I just can't handle the twang. Like that Toby Keith guy; I'm not going to name names but ....it's just really cheesy stuff sometimes. My wife left me and I'm drinking my beer... But then again there are country songs that are good songs too. I just don't like the twang.
yeap... the twang... don't we all country-haters... the twang... haha... come to think about it... if all acoustic popular songs were twang'd up, they'd be country... heh... if someone comes out w/a software that can "twang" songs, i'd consider signing up :D just for kicks... twang 4.0... now you can hick-ize all your favorite songs!
empty me(who wrote this one, anyways? did jeremy camp REALLY write this? i couldn't find out who else did)
holy fire burn away
my desire for anything
that is not of you, and is of me
i want more of you
and less of me
empty me, empty me
fill me, with you, with you
