man, can you believe that oreos are considered kosher?(i'm saying this in a skeptical way, not a hopeful way) don't believe me? go pick up an oreos package and look for a small circle with a capital U in the middle. i remember hearing this in my food science class, and didn't believe it, til i saw it today... it's like saying donuts are good for you or something... you'd think with the hydrogenation done to it that it's supposedly "clean"? and i thought hebrew national hot dogs were supposed to be good... now i'm reevaluating... no wonder jesus said it's not what goes into your mouth that makes you unclean... he mustve predicted the day that we'd call oreos kosher... it's like the atkins diet... i'm disgusted with that diet idea as well...

speaking of atkins diet, from a biological standpoint, i can see the reason why you'd lose weight on it; there are 3 forms of energy that humans use; carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids(fats)... carbs are most readily available, so they're used up first... then proteins, then lipids, which take a long time to digest and to finally be used... lipids provide the most energy per matter, but they never get used, cause yeah... so by taking away the carbs as a source of energy, you start using the proteins and fats in your body you never use... and thus lose weight by actually getting around to using the fats... this is good in the short term, but bad in the long term... why? because you don't consume grains just for the carbs... you consume them for the nutrients they provide... there's a reason you have to ingest vitamins and minerals; to stay healthy... the 3 energy things provide your energy, but the vitamins and minerals are the little things that enable you to stay running... sorta like just feeding your car gas, but not giving it tune-ups, replacing used parts etc... the gas is obviously the main thing, but it's not the only thing... all those guys on the atkins diet are going to suffer long-term effects from various diets that require fiber and the like...

i love how kj-52 addressed the fact that some people think he wrote "dear slim" just to make some money and diss eminem:

“Come on, I do Christian rap. I live in a one-bedroom apartment and drive a beat-up mini van. How much money am I going to make? People download the song [from my Web site] anyway.

… the response I’ve gotten from people saying how much the song changed their lives, to me that was the bigger picture.”

think you should get rid of christian hip-hop and rock? apparently the ol skoolers don't realize the kids who worship eminem sometimes have heard kj's song and turned their ways around...

found an article on how to bunny hop in tfc... will try some this weekend, provided i'm done studying for bio and rewriting my paper...
