and ginobili... man... i'm just loving this guy... it's funny... the truth is, sometimes he's even too flashy for greg popovich... that cracks me up... imagine courtside huddles:

davis police has nothing to do...

that's what my "bio of aging" instructor tells us... we didn't really have a lecture today; he just wanted to kick it back and learn more about us(man, this guy is an awesome teacher... he actually takes time to know you; granted he has a small class to work with, but whatever, it's fun)... 2 incidents that stand out:
-a guy got into a carwreck with a bike; the police arrive, and help him move his banged up car alongside the road, then arrange a ride for him... so he takes off... my instructor is witnessing all this... he goes away, and comes back in a few... and a cop's writing a ticket for this illegally parked car! haha... what gives?
-then there's the daily show w/jon stewart incident: a woman got arrested in davis for get this: SNORING TOO LOUD... haha! who would have thought?

also, get this: university instructors aren't paid by how well they teach; only by what they earn by research... that's how the legislature of ca decides it. they exceed their research projects... they get a raise... you get the idea.

oh, btw, bob, this instructor also pointed out how most of our body can run on fat as energy for about 50 days total, given total fat revenues... so there... proof that you can fast a while w/o killing yourself... i dunno the exact stats though, but basically there's a lotta calories that can be burned off from fat...

perhaps one of the things that annoys me the most about college is that it blazes too fast... no time to take to breathe... and class registration always annoys me greatly.
