i feel so sleepy... 5.5 hours just doesn't cut it. feelin better as the day goes by though... until i have to go to my next class.

oh yeah, my headphones are great... they block out all the noise i heard outside, but everything sounds muffled outside. and since i wear glasses, it hurts my ears.

memorable quote for quite some time: i was in my Science and Society class, and we were discussing the issue of immigration. someone brought up that we aren't as mixed together as we think we are; for instance in high school we are intent on sticking together in our own little ethnic groups. that prompted some line from the professor that went along the lines of:
"so then America's not a melting pot; it's tossed salad?"
